You seem to be among those who feels "intimidated" by Muslims.

We have an extended Muslim family living nearby. Patriarch, matriarch,
married children, grandkids, all in separate and very nice houses on a
small farm. I've been waving at them and saying hello for about 10
years, and they do the same. The patriarch has fruit trees on his
acreage and several "No Hunting" signs. Deer and other critters often
are on his property. He plants trees. What's not to like?

The patriarch, now retired, is a physician and was the head medical
honcho at our community hospital. He was, if memory serves, one of the
sponsors of the group of Muslims who built the mosque and library and
social center right across the street from the hospital.

Much of the money for the center came from Saddam Hussein when he was an
"ally" of the United States.
