Some have asked what I'm going to be doing in retirement. Well, I
applied for a building permit for a new house. It was going to be 100
ft. tall and
400 ft. wide, with 12 gun turrets at various heights, and windows all
over the place and a loud outside entertainment sound system that was
going to entertain the whole neighborhood. It would have parking for
200
cars, andI was going to paint it snot green with pink trim.
The City Council told me; “Forget it...IT AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN!”
So, I sent in the application again, but this time I called it a
'Mosque'.
Work starts on Monday.
I love this country. It’s the government that scares the crap out of
me.
You are just another right-wing racist, anti-ethnic asshole. Welcome to
'Merika.
Is that an opinion or an accusation?
Based on his posting history here, his anti-black and anti-muslim
statements, it is a statement of fact. The post he made today on which I
commented is an anti statement and certainly falls in the category of
anti-black, anti-Muslim, racist, et cetera. What's next for him,
cheering on the morons who shoot up Jewish Community Centers.
The majority of violent hate crimes such as the Kansas City attacks are
committed by white men, typically Klanners, christian identity morons,
anti-semites, white militias, et cetera. MAny conservatives, of course,
go absolutely ape**** when that is pointed out.
Ah, the famous communication "Filters" taught in Sociology 101.
I've read most of amdx's post here. There's nothing that suggests he is
anti-black or anti-muslim from a racist's point of view. He has pointed
out some of the problems we have as a society and some of the ways in
which inequitable treatment or policies are imposed by our government,
but not from a racist's mindset. Didn't he say he's married to a minority?
You hear (or read) things in a very closed frame of mind. That's not
an opinion. That's a statement of fact.
Frankly, Richard, I find you insensitive to most of the overt racism and
other "hate" based upon race, ethnic origins, religion, sexism, et
cetera, expressed here. You're not one of the haters, but you give the
expressions of hate dumped here a pass.
I'm not a fan of organized religion, especially fundamentalist organized
religion, but not because of its "spirituality," whatever that is, but
because of its attempts to intrude in and control our legally
non-religious government and laws.
