Closed: Indiana Pizza Parlor That Won't Cater Same-Sex Weddings Because, Jesus

An Indiana family-owned pizza restaurant says they've had to close down
after telling reporters they support Gov. Pence's anti-gay "religious freedom" law.

The O'Connor family in Walkerton, Indiana last night told reporters they
would never refuse to serve gay people, but they could never cater a
same-sex wedding. The owners of Memories Pizza for nine years, the
O'Connors have religious images and ornaments lining the pizza parlor's
walls and cash register stand.

"If a gay couple came in and wanted us to provide pizzas for their
wedding, we would have to say no," Crystal O'Connor told ABC 57 News. "We
are a Christian establishment."

Number of times in the New Testament Jesus spoke out against
homosexuality: 0 Christianity, apparently, isn't that closely connected to Jesus.

So you will have to get someone else to cater your next wedding.

Right, Bilious, because ****ty pizza from an evangelical pizza parlor in
bum****, indiana, would be my first choice as to what to serve at a
wedding. I wouldn't eat a ****ty pizza from Papa John's or Domino's, either.

Who said it was ****ty pizza? The only thing you left out was death
threats, arson threats, etc.

It's evangelical pizza from indiana. Therefore, it is ****ty pizza.

You'd best stop going to those church dinners you say you attend. You know, with them serving ****ty food and all.

To Krause, the fact that a family won't cater a gay wedding is big anti-Christian
news.

Right, because we all know that Jesus, the Jewish fellow who
Christianity is named after, had squat to say about gaydom, and these
right-wing Christians are looking for any excuse, any excuse, even a
made-up one, to discriminate against people or groups they don't like.
Oh, and the proprietor is divorced. Jesus was not a fan of divorce...I
wonder if the pizza parlor serves divorced people or would cater a
wedding of people who had been previously divorced.

Who serves pizza at a wedding, anyway?
