Government is not going to fix that. It needs to happen in the private
sector and that is not what the private sector does in a global
economy with global communication. Dilbert can be in Mumbai now and do
the same job he did in an office in California.
I agree 100 percent with that. One thing the government *can* do though
is to create a fertile environment here in the USA that provides
an incentive for businesses ... mainly large, public businesses ... to
keep jobs here and even bring those off-shored back. Bernie and the
rest of the ultra liberals have to accept the fact that our economy is
based on capitalism and capitalism is based in part on maximizing
profits and shareholder's equity.
