Some of my scariest moments on the water have been after fireworks
shows. Whenever possible I prefer to stay anchored until the dust
settles.

We went down to the Lani Kai for the fireworks once and it was OK but
I did get everyone wet coming home when I hit some standing waves in
Big Carlos Pass. It was "Victory at sea" for about 3 waves worth. Dark
of the moon and it sort of snuck up on me.
