Got the pics. The Guzzi joints don't have zerks either, although there's a guy selling rebuilt
joints with the zerks. Our drive shafts slide into the joint, but the bearing holding the joint must
be pressed into the swing arm.
I really believe going easy on the clutch (not 'popping' it) has helped me get a lot more miles out
of the current u-joint.
Got the pics and replied. Looks like fun. Dog looks plumb tuckered!

I did too. Thanks. One thing about my goose is that it's a newer (2000) 1100 fuel injected thing. I really don't have to worry about I joint failures *yet* because it only has 21,xxx miles on it.
Not my pic, but is my model. Just add a backrest and that's pretty darn close.
