The tops of the seals had split for almost the entire length of the seal. I was thinking that if the
slide comes in and closes the two ends of the seal before compressing the middle, that could cause a
blowout of the seal. Otherwise, I suppose it's just weathering and the continuous compressing and
decompressing when the slides close and open.



John, my wise ass comment was because you forgot to attach any links to

I was confused too. This thread had declined to the normal insult fest
and I stopped reading it. When I saw you in there I wanted to see what
was going on.
