I got my marine vinyl for the seats at JoAnnes Fabrics. Do not know if

This stuff may be heavier than the stuff JoAnne sells (18oz). The
stuff on my boat lift cover is 22oz, the stuff they use for heavy duty
trucker tarps. For a reference a silver poly tarp is between 2 and 4
oz.

The flybridge enclosure on our trawler is made from "trucker tarp"
vinyl. Trucker tarps are constantly subjected to 70+ mph winds so it
seemed likely to have good longevity on a boat. It has already
survived two strong hurricanes and any number of thunder squalls with
no damage. All of the seams are heat welded so it has very little
stitching.
