Please hold down the fort, Tim!
Hope to get in two days of golf with SIL and grandson at Hilton Head Island. Looking forward to it.
Will take RV so wife can put the GA sticker on her map. Hey, that sticker's worth 1300 miles of
driving and five campground nights!

Enjoy, Savannah is a great area. Right now we're about 300 miles
south of the artic circle and headed northwest at 16 knots through
some moderately lumpy seas. Next stop is northern Iceland tomorrow
morning. We had a great day yesterday in the Shetland Islands north
of Scotland.
I'm surprised that a cruise ship would travel that far north. 'Lumpy' would be calmer than I'd
expect. On our next trip to Holland we'll stay in Reykjavik for a few days and do some island
touring.
Won't see an answer for a while. Have a super trip. Is that an annual event or does that line do
several of those cruises a year? A link to their site would be appreciated.

We are on a Royal Caribbean (RCCS) boat, Serenade of the Seas. It's
my understanding that no RCCS ship has ever gone to Greenland before
although I know of other cruise ships that have. I believe that RCCS
has gone to Iceland however.
I'm really looking forward to seeing Greenland, partly because I've
been scheming and dreaming for several years on how to cruise there on
our trawler. It's theoretically doable but have sort of convinced
myself that it's a bad idea for several different reasons. Bad ideas
have not always stopped me however. :-)
I couldn't find the cruise on their site. Wonder if they'll make it an annual event. I'd look
seriously at it if so.
Unless something has drastically changed I would pass on seeing Thule
again ;-)
I've been over it by plane, but I wasn't very impressed.
