The lack of turn signal use and the running of red lights are the 'in' thing around here now.

That is more like tradition. You certainly don't want to be the first
car stopping after the light turns red because the concrete mixer is
still coming.

That's why God made rear-view mirrors.

Turn signals were always the sign of a tourist.

Not any more. Usually it's a DC plate.

The tourists are the one who use the signals.
