How do you plan for arbitrarily putting a third of the work force out of work? You really need to make up your mind tho. If the government had acted sooner, more people would have been laid off sooner. Maybe you are saying we should not have had the lock down and choking the life out of the economy tho. Is that it? I appreciate that as a loonytarian, you don't give a flying ****
whether people live or die. So you don't have an answer. I'm not the one advocating risking lives by returningto normal "too early." You are. But, of course, I'm not the loonytarian.I understand you don't think there is a problem crashing the economyand the fed printing money like Friedrich Ebert. We know how thatworked out. (well maybe you have to google it)Returning to normal is not in Fat Harry's playbook. He's happy with the status quo so long as he doesn' t run out of toilet paper or bullets.I suspect we got him thinking about riding that bus downtown and he ishappy he has an excuse not to now.
Fat Harry has about a one hour 35 mile commute to his job. He
doesn't even get close to the beltway.
You can't get into DC without getting close to the beltway. You have
to go over it or under it. The Beltway circles the city. I am guessing
his bus goes down the Suitland Parkway that intersects Md Rt 4 right
past the end of the runway at Andrews. Rt 4 goes right down to his
"hood".
I do seem to remember him saying he was taking the train but that is
still right in that same area at Silver Hill Road. Most of the drive
is the same but parking is cheaper.
I used to use Suitland parkway myself but I got off at Rt 5 to go to
Clinton. It gets you through "Souf Esse" with a minimum of gunfire
;-)
When I lived in Oxon Hill it was a toss up whether you wound around
and took Suitland Parkway or just went down 210 to South Capitol. Once
you got across the bridge, traffic wasn't that much different either
way.
