Trump's other lawyers left the case after it became apparent that
there was no evidence to support such an outlandish claim. There can
be serious consequences, including disbarment, when a lawyer knowingly
makes a false statement to the court. That's why the other lawyers
dropped out.

As a former federal prosecutor, Giuliani should know better.
