Oh, if you are in the Bozo Bin, it is because you are only here to
insult or your posts lack wit or you are deadly dull, or a combination.
In Just-AN-Asshole's case, it is all three.
So I guess it's official despite the continuing antics of Trump
and his swamp dwellers.
What a great Christmas present for the civilized world.
Congress still has to affirm the electoral college vote, but that is
just a formality although, apparently, Fretwell the Libertarian
Republican Trumpster, is hopeful for a different outcome.
Considering the sort of psychos who comprise much of the GOP "base," I
wouldn't be surprised if a disenchanted Trumpster tries to assassinate
Biden or Harris before or after inauguration. Hell, it could be one of
the Trump "psycho-phants" here.
Seems as if we in California have some incongruity in our election.
Bragging about the record turnout. 11 million for Biden, the 6 million for
Trump (which I guess are wasted votes, as they don’t count) and some for
the others. 17 million votes cast. We as a state have 38 million
residents. At least 5 million are green card and illegal immigrants.
Leaving us 33 million legal residents. If we have 12 million under 18, we
are down to a possible 21 million legal voters. 17/21 = 80% voter
participation. No f’n way we have that level of participation.
Apparently it was a record turnout in California in terms of the number
of votes cast, but it only ranked third in terms of the percentage of
California citizens who voted. California works to get its people out to
vote, unlike many Republican-controlled states, which work hard to
suppress the vote, especially the vote of minorities. I believe I read
the actual percentage of participation was 70%, not 80% and again, that
was not a record percentage.
Biden got more than 11,000,000 votes in California. Trump got 6,000,000.
The Loonytarians got 187,895. Sweet.
Where is Trumps 11/17 of the EC votes?
In the dumpster, where Trump is headed.

SNERK!
I agree wholeheartedly and unequivocally with this post.
Our states mostly do not split Electoral College votes...it is winner
take all. I' d like to see us get rid of the Electoral College and adopt
a uniform system and mechanism nationwide for federal elections.

Yup, have 10% of the land area rule the other 90%.
People vote, not real estate.
The people get to vote for their representatives. The states vote [real
estate] get to vote for the President. Worked well for a couple hundred
years.
Not in this country...less than 150 years. Legislative election of
senators ended more than 100 years ago, and we became more democratic.
Closer to mob rule.
