The thing was reallypretty cool with a "guest" mode, address translation, encryption etc.It just didn't have a decent connection speed here.

ROUTERS TYPICALLY HAVE 2 LAN MODES. 2G (LOW SPEED) AND 5G(HIGH
SPEED). WHILE 5G IS FASTER IT DOESN'T HAVE THE RANGE THAT 2G HAS.

IF YOU THINK OF WAN AS INTERNET AND LAN AS YOUR COMPUTER AND OTHER
CONNECTED DEVICES, THINGS BECOME A LOT CLEARER. CABLE AND DSL ARE
TYPES OF WAN CONNECTIONS. RG 45, CAT 5 AND CAT 6 ARE ETHERNET
CONNECTIONS. ONE OF THE ETHERNET CONNECTIONS ON A ROUTER IS
DEDICATED TO CONNECTING TO A MODEM OR OTHER DEVICE THAT CONNECTS
TO WAN. THE REMAINING CONNECTIONS CONNECT TO LAN DEVICES. WORDS
HAVE SPECIFIC MEANINGS .
