Thanks!

The picture is the important thing. Now that I know,
I can make a copy and use Photoshop to change the
text which is much easier than changing the picture.

Pay attention Neal. Does the picture on your ticket look like 100 ton
boats?
NO they do not. A hundred ton has 100 ton boats pictures on it. If
your going to forge a licence go ahead and forge a Un-limited Master
of Freight and Towing vessels for any oceans. Forge some Enron
documents reffrences that said you ran their drills ships of the Ivory
coast. They cant check them out.. Then send your application in to
Exxon I hear they are looking for a couple of drill ship skippers.
Pays a little over 300K a year, and you only work 6 months a year. Im
mean if your going to risk imprisionment you might as well go all the
way.

Good Luck

That way I can have a 100 GT license if I need one
as well as a 25GT and OUPV.

The picture shows a tugboat, what looks like an old
ocean liner with two stacks belching black smoke, and
a long, skinny boat that may be a bulk carrier. All of
them look to be steam ships. Sounds like the same
thing you're describing on the Master's ticket.

Yep thats it. You got ripped off. Yours should have a picture that
repesent the tonnage that the licences is good for. Guess they are
cutting back at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing.

Myself I would go to the O.O.D. and demand a proper licences.

And if he will not comply cut the red tape and call Jeb, if Jeb gives
you any lip have him call GW. If GW has any questions ask him to call
JB.

I know a 100 ton ticket has pictures of 100 ton boats.

Disappointed that the USCG Licences group New Orleans is full of
slackers!
What are you a coon ass or something Neil. You should of applied in
Houston.

I can crop the picture and lower the resolution and
post it on line. I'll get to work on it soon.

It is impressive how something, as trival as a Master's license, can
consume more data storage than an entire novel. Why scan at 3,200 DPI
(sic) when the printer can't match it?

It's got something to do with the document and
scanner. At the lower resolutions it comes out
looking all greenish. At 3,200 it has completely
normal colors identical to the original. Maybe
it's got something to do with all the very fine
filigree same as found on currency.

Sounds like a nice copier.

What picture is on your ticket? I know the 100 tons have a 2 masted
schooner a oilfield crew boat and a fishing party boat with 15 people
on deck included the skipper on top the wheelhouse the coast in the
background and its partly cloudy, seas running 1-2 feet.

Now on a masters ticket you will see a 140 foot tug boat with the capt
on the wheel and a deck hand on the bow. It an old wood steam powered
tug looks to be an early 1900's model. Its heading from port to
starboard and will cross you bow. Then crossing port to starboard
behind them is a 500 foot tanker hauling ass. Then crossing from
starboard to port is the USS America a luxury liner. both ships are
flying the American flag on the stern. Seas are running 8-10 foot with
white caps. It's overcast and its has no referrence to land at all.

The picture tells the story. Can you post just the art on-line, I've
never seen a 25gt coastal.

And Congrats! Is this your 2-1 ?

Hey, that gives me an idea. Maybe I'll try
scanning in some hundred dollar bills.

I woulden't suggest doing that.
