Default Your "WORST" Almost Boat....?

This was a larger one, and it was pretty much the same story. We
mostly stayed below the Bay Bridge. The C&C sailed wonderfully,
even with all that was wrong with it. It was really abused by the
charter company customers and the charter company didn't do much
to fix it up.

I've sailed on a hunter in over 20 kts. It was something in the 40+ foot
range.
I can't really recall. It lumbered like a tub. I hated it. No waves, but

3-4
foot
chop.

The last two times we were out there, we rented Hunter 290s from Club

Nautique.
Very roomy boat for it's length, clever design... sails well in moderate
conditions... but not a good choice for reaching back & forth in the Slot!

The
lee of Angel Island looked & felt really good after that.

OTOH the C&C 40 (if in good shape) would be a great boat for that area.

But
owning one in shares kinda sucks IMHO.
