getting rid of hull slime?
Mary Kate On & Off works terrific on fiberglass...but I'm not sure it can be
used on aluminum boats that are anodized. Call the manufacturer:

my boat is docked for the summer in one of our southern ohio lakes. the
water
temperature commonly goes above 80 degrees for most of the summer.
consequently, when i take the boat out to trailer it, the entire bottom
is
covered with a thick layer of scum and slime i dont know the scientific
terms
for this green crap, but i do know that it is very difficult to remove.
my
boat is a 21 foot aluminum hull, sylvan, sportfisher. it has a painted
hull.
can anyone tell me a good way to get rid of this stuff? i have tried
powerwash
(at the local carwash) and it barely removes any of this stuff. last
year i
had to get under the boat, on my back, and scrub very long and hard to get
cleaned. is this the only way to deal with this problem? thanks.
