George, still not too shabby though eh, getting a nice island campsite
on Labor Day weekend.

We've avoided major holidays and even weekend put ins at Little Tupper
(and elsewhere as well). We tend to avoid doing campers on Memorial
Day, Independence Day or Labor Day weekends, and ideally shoot for
putting in on a Sunday at the earliest (Monday or Tuesday is even more
to my liking).
