I don't believe that there is reason to remove the manifolds. you could try
a 5/8 socket with universal swivel. You can see what they look like by going
to harborfreight.com and enter search word socket and look for the swivel
socket. you can buy them anywhere but look here to see what might do the
job. do you have a picture so we can see the problem your having. I had a
lincoln continental and it took like 2 hours to get the right front spark
plug out. so you can do it if you stay with it and find the right tool. good
luck. show us a picture.
