The Product Compatibility list there indicates there are some
limitations on compatibility between BlueChart and the GPSMAP 76 and
GPSMAP 76S, but not for the GPSMAP 76C and 76CS.

P.S. - Beware of gushing endorsements from brand name advocates that
don't know the answer to your question. :)
