I have to disagree. I sailed with the Moorings out of Canouan
recently, and all our party found the experience fantastic. Service
was exceptional, and we can't wait to go back again. Guess who we will
be sailing with? We found the people in the Grenadines great to be
around.

Sure the airport on Canouan is small. But as a result, there are no
onsite delays. Planes get delayed all over the world - that is hardly
the fault of Canouan, or of anyone in the Grenadines for that matter.

What does "the Moorings has become purely revenue driven and are
approaching the business now as if it were a commodity" mean? If you
have a complaint, be specific. Waffle is a waste of time.

I would definitely advise against the Moorings and especially in the
Grenadines. The boats are in poor repair, the base is a logistical nightmare
and the staff is, at best disorganized and at worst, incompetent. The appeal
for us was the direct flight to Cannouan. It is not worth it in retrospect.
Realistically you lose a night each way because of the difficulty of loading
and unloading and the extreme delays that are common at the airport. If the
Grenadines is your destination, consider St. Vincent.
I believe that the Moorings has become purely revenue driven and are
approaching the business now as if it were a commodity. After all of this,
and after almost three months of complaining, I received a one-day credit.
This despite the fact that we were out of pocket almost twice as much.
