I've explored a short (very short, 10 miles) section of the Pee Dee
right next to the Waccamaw/ICW and found that it unpredictably shoals,
with numerous side channels. Pretty, some nice anchorages. Can be
frustrating though, and I'd hate to be trying to get somewhere in a
hurry on that river.
