Actually, a roll on type of bedliner or epoxy paint that you can build up a
good layer would probably work good. Just use a light color so it does not
get so hot.
Other than that - I would glue in some carpet but if it is used for
fishing - carpet gets nasty and is a lot harder to clean than just washing
out the boat w/ a hose.
