You hit on one of the things that I called a "Jaw Dropper"...That 2"
pvc angle holding the fuel tank... You can imagine how well they held
the 50 or 75 gallon fuel tanks.....NOT! Most of the boats had a
bulkhead ,but there was still several inches for the tank to shift
around in I can't tell you how many near-disasters I saw because of
that stuff.. I had a customer with a fresh water tank that pulled the
fill hose off the nipple and slid into the serpentine belt idler... Big
mess... Thats a lot of weight for 2 #12 screws and a piece of plastic
to secure..
Anything to save a buck...
