Depends on what your slip arrangement is. Some allow hanging straps; some
only allow floatation devices., some don't allow bolting anything that they
didn't supply to their dock.. etc. ..etc.
I had a hydrohoist once ( I think that was the name) two fiberglass tubes
with a small compressor to inflate. It was bolted onto the dock itself. I
bought it used for $1,000 and sold it a few years later for $800.00. It was
great. boat was out of the water all of the time, yet could be launched in
minutes. I'd do it again given the correct docking arrangement. RichG

After 5 years getting tired of not using my boat (Glastron GS225) because
it
is a hassle to put it in and out with the trailer. So, took a slip. Boat
of course has no bottom paint. Don't know that I want to paint. Looking
for opinions on hoists. Hydro Hoist brand? EconoLift brand? Used? New?
Or, just paint it and forget it. Hull is so nice without the paint.
