Default DC Power supply

Check out Powerstream DC/DC converters. They have 24/12 models up to 40
amps continuous, 80 peak for under $200. You would probably be fine with
the 40 amp peak model that can handle 30 amps for 10 minutes and 20
continuous for $136. http://www.powerstream.com/dc-buck-boost.htm

I bought a used Icom-m710 SSB and it didn't come with any of the
necessary accessories to get it up and working. So I started looking
for a power supply, and the manufacturer of the radio recommends their
PS-66 DC-DC converter for a 24 volt setup to drop it down to 13.6 volts.
New, it COSTS ABOUT $1100!!!!!!

Anyone know of a cheaper way to do this?

Jean
