Default Safer Boating

I read that post and said, "Hoo boy! Does this poor fellow have a clue
what is about to happen to him in this newsgroup?" Sure enough Dave,
you didn't disappoint.

I'm not quite sure what congress can do to make boating safer except
to make is so expensive that no one can do it. That would certainly
save lives.

I'm not quite sure what this fellow's agenda is but it looks like
banning outboards, and conventional inboards might address the one
specific issue he raises. The jet manufacturers will probably be
lining up to support this organization, if indeed it is more than just
a web site and a wet dream.

Great. Another Washington based adjunct to the trial lawyers'
litigation
scam. Not doubt they'll give you lots of money to lend credibility
to their
phony suits. Maybe you can even hire some of the same MDs who claim
to have
read the X-rays of thousands and thousands of people who they say
have both
asbestosis and silicosis even though such a combination of ailments
is about
as scarce as hens' teeth in the real world.
