Sailing in Wyoming

We did not go to WY to sail but we did camp at Signal Mt campground on
the edge of Jackson Lake in Grand Teton Park and I was surprised to see
it was such a great sailing venue.
Heck yeah, Jackson Lake is an awesome place to sail. There
used to be an E-Scow on the lake although I did not get to
sail it, I did sail a Hobie 18 and explain to the owner why
we were getting passed by a monohull.
Like any lake with mountains nearby, the wind tends to be
gusty, lots of shifts to keep you on your toes. The water is
also very cold. I highly recommend wearing a wetsuit to sail
there.
The scenery is incredible. It's a beautiful place to sail
(or do almost anything else).
