Your response is intellectually dishonest for two reasons:
1) It's not a direct quote from Kerry, but a paraphrase from who knows
where. Cite? Is this from one of the usual kook-sites you get all
your other talking points from?
2) That was not the quote in question. Not even close. You are
bringing up a "quote" from *1970* and trying to foist it off as the
one in question. That's dishonest.
For the record, the actual prepared remarks that Kerry was supposed to
say we
"Do you know where you end up if you don't study, if you aren't
smart, if you're intellectually lazy? You end up getting us stuck
in a war in Iraq. Just ask President Bush."
It was a dig on Bush. And an accurate one.
