it in the MC shop vs. Outboard shop.

You might do better than either if you can find a local bearing supplier. (I
live in a relatively small town and we have two.) They might be better
equipped to determine if there's anything special about the outboard
bearing, too. (There can be variations in cage materials, seals, etc.)
