Thank you very much for posting this. It's the kind of little glitch that
could kill a boat. It's also an excellent illustration of why you should
have a secondary source of situational awareness always engaged.

Would you or someone else please post a description of a way, if there is
one, to get a computer to read and record the NEMA sentences as you did? I
would like to try this with my 76Cx. If many of us start bombarding Garmin
with similar results, they are more likely to do something.
