According to Calif Bill, in California it's perfectly legal and
acceptable to litter the shoreline with derelict boats. He even said
that a certain marina followed this practice, even after I contacted
the harbormaster and was assured this was not true!

I think Calif Bill is California Dreaming again.

And here is the full email from the Harbormaster at Pillar Point
stating that what YOU described, Bill, as illegal. I copied your post
verbatim, and sent it to him.

Sir,
Please rest assured that this practice is not done at Pillar Point,
or
any other marina operated by San Mateo county. Our county prides
itself
on being in the forefront of environmental regulation, and to do
anything such as you have described above would, as you have stated,
not only be illegal under California criminal statutes, but also
under
the strict guidelines of our state's environmental laws.

And where did I say they litter the shoreline with abandoned boats. I said
they put them in "the Box". And let the salvager go at them. This is
probably the last response to you as you are still an idiot spouting lies
about your education, among other things.
