Maybe it's something to do with Canada. Anyway, here's a map of where
Active Pass is, between Mayne and Galiano Islands. It's a lovely
place, you just don't want to be in Active Pass on a little boat when
those big ferrys go through!

Sorry I did not see the original question

I use Powerpost to send images to a number of groups - but I do not
reset all the options each time. Follow ups need to go to the newsroup
to which the images are sent - or to my email

Quite often you can see whales and/or eagles at Active Pass too. The way
the summer schedules work on the Tsawassen-Schwartz Bay route puts the
passing place of the two super ferries in the pass, which is a great
picture taking opportunity.
