It had to be a bitter sweet experience for you, especially considering the
conditions you had to operate in.

What are you buying when the Navigator is officially sold?

It was. It's obvious the buyer likes the boat and unless the oil analysis
indicates a serious problem (very unlikely) I suspect the deal will go
through. It's with very mixed emotions that it is sold because I have a lot
of good memories of it. Hard to believe I've had it for 8 years.

When we got the GB we realized that owning two boats is stupid, so we put
both on the market with a plan to keep the one that didn't sell first.
Mrs.E. has favored selling the Navigator, not because the GB is "hers", but
because she knows that the Navigator is a little bit too big for me to
single handle, although I have. You really need one or two people aboard
just to help with the lines, etc. I am the only one in the family that
currently enjoys or has the time to go boating which is part of the reason
why it hasn't been used much since bringing it back from Florida.

The GB, at 36', is easier to single hand, even though it has a single screw.
So, in her "always looking out for my interests" way, Mrs.E. has determined
that a smaller, slower boat is for me. She's the Admiral, I am only a lowly
Captain, so you know the rest of the story.
