8-8.5 kts. 120hp 28,000 lb boat (empty) more like 30-32k lbs. loaded.

I was just trying to point out how misleading Harry's reported "numbers"
could be to some. They may be accurate for how he happened to operate his
boat last year, but the numbers should not be construed as being typical for
that engine or boat. All you have to do is look up fuel burn rates versus
RPM for the Yamaha 150 four stroke.
