Ohhhh, now I understand what you are looking for in a city. A city with
really big airport buildings. I thought you meant an airport that was
serviced on a regular basis by large planes. Savannah can handle and
has regular service by carriers using 727 etc, but the airport building
themselves are not as big as Atlanta, Chicago or NYC. You really do
have unique requirements for places to live. How big is the airport in
Costa Rica?
From where I live, Savannah is "served" mainly by the puddle-jumping
"partners" of the major airlines. The major airlines are crappy
enough...their "partners" are far worse.

Now, there are a couple of mainstays sprinkled about, but the majority
of the schedules indicate Savannah is a minor regional airport, just as
I described it.

Uh, Savannah isn't a "minor regional airport". It's an international
airport. Just because your local airport of choice isn't serviced
well, doesn't mean that Savannah is a minor regional airport.
And, US Airways, not express offers non-stop to Washington Reagan, and
there are many major airlines that can get you there with a change of
planes, non of which are puddle jumpers, but common carrier aircraft.

I wonder if you can get to Hilton Head's International Airport with a
direct flight from Harry's preferred airport.

Oh wait, Savannah is the largest airport serving Hilton Head. Never mind.
