Spraying Gelcoats "how to"
Hi Bruce,
the only real difference with a proper gel coat gun is that the sprayed gel
coat should have far fewer pin holes than with a some other type of gun.
That and speed of operation. If pin holes are not an issue (you can't
hardly see them) then by all means go for it. By the way, I have had much
luck with brushing on gel coat using the softest brush I can find. I don't
use "brushing" gel coat but normal spraying gel coat.
Cheers,

om...
I have a gravity fed spray gun which I use with spray putty. It has a
2.8 mm fluid nozzle. I was going to try and use it to spray some
"Gelcoat" but thought I should ask first - will this work. I thought
the nozzle size still might be to small. Hoe is a spray gun for use
with Gelcoat different from a normal spray gun??
thanks in advance.
