When I lived there we had less than a half dozen lights from TB to
Aqua land. Now there are than many in the mile around the Rt 5/301
intersection
IF we are driving up from "da Souf," I get off of 301 N *before* that,
and pick up Route 5 again on the eastern edge of the congestion, and
then cross over the Patuxent River. You certainly are correct about the
301/5 intersection area. Once you are out of that area, if you are
heading to the Beltway and North, you can take Route 4 north. Outside of
the weekday morning rush hour, it's pretty decent.
