Lovely story, lovely man.


This story hit the media again recently due to the Edwards affair "affair".

Unlike Edwards, who outright lied about his affair and may be quilty of
illegally using campain funds to pay off his girlfriend while running for
the Presidential nomination, McCain has never denied any of the details of
his affair and divorce that happened .... what ... 28 years ago?

To the contrary, he has publically acknowledged his activities and actions
and assumes full responsibility for them, including all the warts.

Several presidents have been elected after having divorces. So what?
That's a personal issue and really has nothing to do with the qualifications
to be President.

Lying about it, covering it up, paying off people, while trying to secure
the nomination is not a personal issue. Nor is lying under oath, or to the
public while serving as President.

I'll take the guy that tells the truth.
