I think the PUMA faction is going to take the nomination away from
BarryO and give it to Hillary.

Just a hunch - nothing to back it up, but reading about BarryO's
capitulation to the PUMA faction, the fact that Clinton will have her
own floor whips at the convention, the rally, the absolutely vicious
email the PUMA faction sent around (and probably more racist than
anything I've seen in the past few years) and that a full 30% of the
PUMA faction saying they will not vote for BarryO under any
circumstances and some noted Democrats awkwardly avoiding BarryO like
the Plague - it's very possible. The later is key - the Democrats in
this state avoided Ned Lamont like the Plague too - and look what
happened to him.

Add that the Clintons aren't being very visible or open about
endorsing BarryO, the new questions about his heritage (as in
registering at a Indonesian Catholic School as a Muslim), the fact
that the Arab world will view him as an apostate, heretic and unclean
making his job harder to deal with them (which is gaining some
momentum among the smarter Democrats).

You know what's even funnier about all this? All this stuff I've just
talked about has come from Democratic sources, blogs, comments and one
forum I read fairly regularly - none of which are exactly ...um...
moderately leftist in nature. :)

It might be actually worth watching.

If this happens (and I also think it's a possibility) the whole US election
system is going to be turned upside down and may never be the same again.
Any remaining faith in the integrity of the process is going to go out the
window, forever.

We will have the Clintons to thank for this.

Plus, I'll never be able to discuss politics with Mrs.E. again ........
