These days they will push meds on anyone who is willing to take them.
My doctor tried to get me on statins just because my cholesterol was a
little high. I started taking a fish oil gel cap every day and now I
am down in the 120 range.

I do the fish oil thing too and it worked. You do not want to get
recorded as being high Cholesterol or high blood pressure because then
an insurance company may call it a pre-existing condition.
