Sorry we are not up to your standards, and yet, you still have not

1 - You aren't listening.
2 - I have given you at least three, maybe even four direct answers to
your questions.
a. - Purchase a camcorder that uses tape instead of hard drives or SD
cards because the output is .avi.
b. You can use the rename file trick on MOD/MOI files (regardless of
what you read on the innertubes) and it works just fine with no loss
in compression. I do that at least once or twice a week now that I'm
working on a heavy duty fly tying series for my web site.
c. MOD files are mpeg2 files because that is the default/defacto
standard for DVD. There isn't any other way to state it. The fact
that Microsoft handles video in a strange way, does not mean that the
standard has changed.
d. I offered you a full suite of professional software to handle this
as I don't use it anymore - I use Adobe now - for free I might add, no
money because of your "situation" and being a nice guy and your still
****ing and moaning about converting MOD/MOI files.
So now who is being a "troll"?
When you are serious about getting real answers to a percieved
problem, get back to me.
Otherwise, shut the **** up.
