Default Question on custom sail makers

Three to four months is not at all unusual, particularly during the "busy
season." If you ordered at the end of February or early March, so did most
everyone else in anticipation of the season. Still, there would be nothing
wrong with your contacting the loft by phone and asking for a status report.
And I would have to assume that you asked how long it would take either
before, or when, you placed your order. Was there a reason you didn't
mention the name of the loft, though?

Perhaps you folks can give me a reality check? I have mail ordered a loose
footed sprit sail for my "Footloose" (designed by Warren Jordan) from a
sailmaker that is quite prominent on the web. This was several (3) months
ago, I have Emailed them several times during this period and no return
answer. So, my question is; how long is a reasonable time to wait? Am I
being too impatient? Any advice is appreciated.
