While I can't say I have any experience with what Steve is stating . . . I
am NOT surprised. It is also one of the reasons I use a LOCAL sailmaker.

I once went into a Doyle (now UK) sail loft in San Diego to check the
progress on my sail alterations.. Not a sole working in the loft and my

was in Mex. The "Sailmaker" was the only person I ever saw in the loft

any of my three visits. However, the work was fine and reasonable.
