The Clintons have gone out of their way to make the appointment public and
appear to be all but certain..... without actually waiting for Obama's team
to formally make a decision or announcment.
Big Bill has already agreed to cooperate fully in the vetting process, and
Hillary's staff has routinely leaked that the process is well underway.

If he choses Richardson or someone else instead, the Hillary followers are
going to scream bloody murder. Dissed twice.

They have him boxed in pretty nicely.

That's not my take. Andrea Mitchell first broke the news - and she
said it came from Obama insiders.
Obama will do what he wants, and he wants her. Otherwise he would
have his "insiders" leak that it won't be her.
That wouldn't hurt him at all.
He will soon be "The President of the United States of America."
The "political" shows are getting a little tedious. They latch on to
something like this - especially if it involves the Clintons - and
just yak yak yak like gossips about it.
Only way to express their "power."
They're not news people, they're gossips.
Obama will pretty much do what he damn well pleases.
He's got the balls for it, and the mandate from the American people.
Elections matter.
Next chance to change that comes in 2 years.
If Hillary stays in the Senate, she could be a thorn in his paw.
He wants her in the cabinet. Working for him, at his command.
The Clintons are has-beens in the Presidential arena.
