I think Nigel Calder's new "Cruising Handbook" has a section on building a
good box. His other book that is specifically on refrigeration is good for
refrigeration mechanics.
Ferenc Mate may also discuss building an box in "Finely Fitted Yacht" but
I'm not sure.
I would consider vacuum panels if building from scratch.
