Is that the system that was supposed to be on the road signs 30 years
ago?
When I had a '64 VW bug, I had every metric wrench needed for it and
could estimate metric nut/bolt sizes with about 99% accuracy.
Still remember the engine to bell housing nuts were 17mm.
Junked it in '74, and never needed to know a metric weight/measure
since. Wish I could forget that 17mm.
Of course I'm not the one plotting space vehicle trajectories that
crash into Mars because of confusing meters and yards.
