Not all were shore. I had a mountain mans Buffalo Robe coat years ago. I
am 6'4" and the coat was big on me. Unfortunately the coat was lost in a
home fire at my dads. Might have been like the USSR. They staffed their
tanks and some ships with size challenged people. As they built the
vehicles with low profiles.
