I noticed something interesting yesterday (Saturday).
I have a HD TV set up at the music shop and have it attached to a rabbit
ear
antenna set that I stuck up in the overhead above the ceiling. It works
well. When I initially did the auto channel search programing, it
detected
5 analog channels and 18 digital channels being broadcast "over the air".
Friday was supposed to be the federally mandated end of analog TV
transmission.
Saturday afternoon I repeated the auto channel detection setup ritual.
It still detects 5 analog channels and 18 digital. When I tune to one of
the analog channels, it's still there in all it's snowy, weak signal
glory.
Did five TV stations forget to turn the analog switch to "off"?

If you are out in the boonies with analog repeaters you may still have
analog.
I don't know. I thought the plan was that all analog broadcasts would stop
by federal mandate on Friday, a delay from a few months ago.
Just curious as to why nothing seems to have changed.
