And this is in Washington? The Liberal Utopia (or so someone would
have us believe)? Workers paradise?

Surely they can tax all the upper income people - you know those who
make over $250,000 a year to make up for the deficit.

Yup. Washington State of Utopia.

And how's your showcase Republican Governator doing?

Heard he's been handing out IOU's for purchases.

The Governator sucks. Our legislature sucks. The say they have a balanced
budget this week. Balanced my arse. Borrowed billions from counties and
cities against their will, delay state paychecks one day in to next fiscal
year. Accelerate income payments. But that means, less tax payments next
year, or they got to send a lot of money back to the folks who overpaid. A
few furlough days. No renegotiated excess labor contracts, no reduction in
the excess state workforce. Washington State will probably learn from
Califonia pols and do the same stupid things.
